Tom Carty

Tom Carty is a college coach.

Carty was assistant coach at Delaware Valley College, Montgomery County Community College, West Chester University of Pennsylvania (1999-2000) and North Carolina State University (2001). From 2002-2005, he was pitching coach and recruiting coordinator for Marshall University. He was an assistant at Georgia College and State University in 2006 and 2007. In 2008, he became head coach at Georgia College and State University, going 70-43 in his first two years; he won two Peach Belt Conference championships. Carty took Georgia College and State to the 2010 Division II College World Series, their second trip ever to that event. He then moved to LIU Brooklyn/Long Island University as pitching coach from 2017-2022 and Columbia University in 2023.
