Biographical Information[edit]
Tom Callahan was the center fielder for Team USA in the 1939 Amateur World Series, the second international tournament for the US. He played baseball, basketball and football in college. He was in the Army during World War II. He later played pro basketball, for the 1946-1947 Providence Steamrollers.
