Biographical Information[edit]
Catcher Tomás Nido played for the World Team in the 2017 Futures Game. He made his major league debut with the New York Mets later that season. The Mets had drafted him in the 8th round in the 2012 amateur draft, out of a high school in Florida, although he had been born in Puerto Rico, which explains why he was with the World Team.
