Toba Elegbi
Toba Elegbi was the leadoff hitter and shortstop for the Nigerian national team that won the Silver Medal at the 1999 All Africa Games. He hit .238/?/.333 with 2 steals in 3 tries, two errors and five RBI in five games. He tied Michael Okoli for 3rd on the team in RBI. He was much sharper on defense than some of the other shortstops in the event, as Ghana's Joshua Amponsah had 7 errors and Lesotho's Seatile Putsoa had 12. He had been the center fielder for Nigeria in the 1991 World Junior Championship.
