Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Tim Triner spent eight years in the minor leagues, playing from 1940 to 1941 and from 1945 to 1950. He began his career with a 2.76 ERA in 75 innings for the Welch Miners his first year to lead the Mountain State League in ERA, then went 17-10 with a 2.90 ERA for the same club the next year. After missing a few years, he went 12-7 with a 2.70 mark for the Hartford Bees in 1945 and 13-9, 2.91 for the same team the next year. After a handful of less successful seasons at Triple-A, his career was over.

In total, he was 61-43 in 213 games.
