Tim Roodenburg has pitched in the Hoofdklasse.

In 2006, Roodenburg debuted for Sparta/Feyenoord, allowing five runs in 7 2/3 innings. He had a try-out with the New York Yankees in the Dominican Republic but was not signed. In 2007, the right-hander had a 0-2, 4.59 record. He also saw brief action at second base, going 0 for 10 with an error.

Roodenburg improved to 5-4, 2.84 in 2008 though he did walk 35 in 57 innings to tie Duko Jansen for 8th in the league. In 2009, the 20-year-old posted a 4-5, 3.86 record. He made the inaugural Hoofdklasse All-Star Game in 2010.
