Tim O'Brien was an associate scout for the Florida Marlins and Baltimore Orioles, from 1997-2006. He was assistant coach at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 1992 and again in 2009 and 2010. He also has taught and coached at Long Reach High School. He coached for Team USA in the 2010 Women's Baseball World Cup.
