Biographical Information[edit]
Tim Mead has been a college coach for over 40 years.
Mead graduated with a bachelor's degree from Walsh in 1981 while earning letters in both baseball and soccer, then got his master's from Akron in 1982. He then returned to Walsh as soccer coach, a job he held through 2010.
Mead became head baseball coach in 1984. The school went to the NAIA postseason seven times before moving up to NCAA in 2013, making the 2007 NAIA College World Series, where they finished 7th. Walsh won the 900th game under Mead's leadership in 2023.
