Biographical Information[edit]
Tim McNamara pitched for the Boston Braves in 1922-1925 and for the New York Giants in 1926. In the minors he went 14-11 for Toledo in 1926 and also pitched for them in 1928 and briefly in 1929.
McNamara was in the majors at the same time as Tom McNamara, a player with a similar name who was also from Massachusetts.
Tim had been at Fordham University at the same time as Frankie Frisch. The two would be reunited on the 1926 Giants.
McNamara died when he was nearly 96 years old.
