Biographical Information[edit]
Tim Green is the author of several baseball books.
Green played Little League baseball before he focused on football. He was co-valedictorian at Syracuse University. The NFL's Atlanta Falcons picked him in the first round of the 1986 NFL draft. He had 24 sacks in 99 NFL games, then worked as a NPR commentator on football. He later wrote books for older children about baseball and football; he said the baseball books were because his kids liked baseball so much. Among his books was Force Out. He later co-authored some books with Derek Jeter.
