Tim Collins has played baseball in Austria (2004) and in the Central Ontario Baseball Association. He was one for 14 with a team-high five walks for the British national team in the 2005 European Championship, fielding .931 as their main shortstop. In the 2007 European Championship, he helped Britain win its second Silver Medal ever at a European Championship, batting .227/.370/.227 and fielding .943 as their starting third baseman.
