Biographical Information

Thomas (Tom) Towich was a resident of Allentown, PA, where, after his retirement from the minor leagues (he played one game for the 1955 Albany Cardinals), he was a constant presence throughout the area at youth sports events.

Every Spring, he would diligently visit local youth venues, often holding pitching clinics, whereupon aspiring children learned the various grips for pitches from the (seemingly) 6' 4" giant right-hander, resplendent in his beloved St. Louis Cardinals home white uniform.
