Biographical Information[edit]
Thomas McDiarmed (also spelled MacDiarmed) was the umpire for one game in the National Association in 1872. Before this he played for the Brooklyn Stars in 1865. A paper from August 8, 1865 says that MacDiarmed was suspended for the rest of the season for intentionally delaying a game against the Philadelphia Keystones and was not taking the game seriously.
