The Fall of the Roman Umpire
The Fall of the Roman Umpire (ISBN 0553051369) is a book by Ron Luciano and David Fisher published in 1986. The book is dedicated to personal accounts by 1980s baseball players selected by Luciano because he felt they had a story to tell. They range from bench-riders like Marc Hill to a serious Hall of Fame candidate, Darrell Evans. Each player has a chapter dedicated to their retelling of their baseball career.
