Biographical Information[edit]

Thad Tillotson was signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1960 and spent much of the decade in their minor league system. After going 19-6 for the Reno Silver Sox in 1960 and 12-11 for the Atlanta Crackers in 1961, he was with the Spokane Indians for part of each season from 1962 to 1966. After he went 12-8 for Spokane in 1966, the New York Yankees acquired him in a trade for Dick Schofield.

He spent 1967 and part of 1968 with the Yankees, and was also with the Syracuse Chiefs from 1968 to 1970, posting a winning record each year with Syracuse.

In 1971 he pitched for the Nankai Hawks in Japan.
