Biographical Information[edit]
Tex McDonald played four years in the major leagues. In 1913, his .355 batting average was higher than the league champion's, but Tex didn't have enough at-bats to qualify for the title. In 1914, he jumped to the Federal League where he hit well.
Tex played right field and also third, short, and second.
He played 16 years in the minors with a .314 batting average.
