Biographical Information[edit]
Terry Wilshusen appeared in one career game, April 7, 1973 for the California Angels. He entered the game with the Angels behind 8-3 and pitched one third of an inning against the Kansas City Royals. He walked Kurt Bevacqua and Amos Otis, hit Freddie Patek with a pitch and got Cookie Rojas to foul out to Angels catcher John Stephenson; in addition, one of his pitches became a passed ball. Reliever Ron Perranoski gave up a 2-RBI double to Hal McRae, and then gave up an RBI single to Keith Marshall - himself in his first major league at bat. All runs were charged to Wilshusen.
He died in his sleep months after he had a stroke and a heart attack.
