Terry Warner
Biographical Information[edit]
Terry Warner was a player and manager in Britain, his baseball career lasting almost 60 years. His son Vince Warner also played for the British national team.
Terry starred for Britain in the 1967 European Championship, their first European Championship, striking out 14 in a 2-run complete game win over Sweden; he also had a hit and a run in that game. Britain won a Silver, their best finish of the 20th Century. He managed the British national team in 1968 and coached for them in 1982, when they did not play in a major event. He also played for Thames Boards Mills when they won two British titles and managed the Croydon Bluejays to a British championship in 1984. In 2012, he was elected to the British Baseball Hall of Fame.
