Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Terry Horn threw two no-hitters in high school. He was a second round draft choice of the Boston Red Sox after his senior season in 1991. The 51st overall pick, the choice was compensation for the loss of Mike Boddicker to free agency. Surprisingly, of the 12 right-handed pitchers taken in the second round in 1991, only one (Marc Kroon) made the majors. Horn pitched one season with the rookie league GCL Red Sox. He appeared in seven games, one start, compiling a 2-0 record and a 1.74 ERA. In his 10 innings of work, he struck out eight and only walked two.
