Biographical Information[edit]
Terry Baumgartner has won over 500 games as a college coach.
Baumgartner was pitching coach at Western Oregon University in 1993-1994, right after graduating from there. He became their head coach in '95, the youngest head coach in any sport in school history to that point. He set a school record for wins with 33 and was named Cascade Collegiate Conference Coach of the Year. He then broke the win record in 2001 (41-20) and 2005 (42-15). He was named Great Northwest Athletic Conference Coach of the Year each season from 2002-2005. He took WOU to the 2001 NAIA College World Series and finished 4th in the school's first NAIA College World Series. Overall, he was 370-220 at WOU.
After one year as pitching coach at Feather River College, he became head coach there in 2008. He posted 31-7 records in both 2010 and 2011. He was 134-37 after four seasons at Feather River.
