Biographical Information[edit]

Ted Waring was a catcher in the minor leagues from 1907 to 1917. He managed the 1921 Independence Producers team that went 103-38. He had the club in first place on May 25 when, in a game at Miami, he suffered a broken leg when a runner slid into him at the plate. He was hopsitalized for part of the remainder of the season, and Ned Pettigrew led the team in his absence.

Waring scouted for the Kansas City Blues in 1925-1926.
