Biographical Information[edit]
Ted McGrew was a National League umpire in 1930 and 1931 and again in 1933 and for a few games in 1934. He had previously been a minor league infielder from 1901-1912, peaking with the class A Birmingham Barons in 1905. He also managed Holton/Blue Rapids in the 1910 Eastern Kansas League and piloted both the Columbia Comers and Lexington Colts for part of 1912.
