Ted James
Ted James played in Liverpool, England before World War II. He managed the Great Britain national team in the 1967 European Championship, their first European Championship appearance. Taking advantage of the absence of traditional powers Italy and the Netherlands, Britain won a Silver Medal. As of 2020, it marks their best finish, only duplicated once since.
