Biographical Information

Outfielder Taylor Lewis played in the Pittsburgh Pirates minor league system from 2011 to 2014. He was drafted by the club in the 10th round of the 2011 amateur draft.

The speedy ballplayer stole 16, 20 and 17 bases in 2011, 2012 and 2013, respectively, and in 2013 he had more triples than doubles - 12 to 11. However, he batted only .188, 244 and .207 those years, respectively with a peak on-base percentage of .319. He began 2014 with the Bradenton Marauders.
