Biographical Information[edit]

Tanner Rockwell has been a college coach.

He hit .485 in high school, .398 as a junior college freshman and .391 as a sophomore. [1] He finished as Arkansas Baptist's career leader in hits (141), doubles (33), homers (16), runs (93) and saves (8). [2] Transferring to Little Rock Arkansas, he hit .321/.400/.526 and had 8 saves with a 1.59 ERA, leading the team in OBP, slugging and saves and making second-team All-Sun Belt Conference. [3] As a senior, he produced at a .314/.386/.443 clip but fell to 0-2, 9.20 with a save on the mound. He was All-Sun Belt at third. [4]

Rockwell was head coach of Arkansas Baptist College in 2017 then assistant coach at Ouachita Baptist University in 2019-2020. [5] He then was hired as the first head coach of Southern Arkansas University Tech's baseball program. [6]
