According to the Encyclopedia of Minor League baseball, both the second and third editions, list Walla Walla as the Bears in 1969, the Phillies in 1970 and '71, the Rainbows in 1972 and the Padres in 1973, '74 and '75. @Dugout do you have any other references? I found this picture that claims they were the Islanders: http://mvbarer.blogspot.com/2012/07/northwest-league-baseball-walla-walla.html . Perhaps even more telling, The (Bend) Bulletin's July 1, 1972 issue calls them the Islanders: http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=sQg0AAAAIBAJ&sjid=v_cDAAAAIBAJ&pg=4915%2C6212741 "Coos Bay-North Bend nicked the Islanders 8-7..."
