Talk:Three-I League
I like the "Cities Represented" format to the "Member Franchises" one used for the IL, PCL and AA. The ones that use Member Franchises include things like "Ottawa Lynx 1951-1954, 1993-present Called the Ottawa Giants (1951) and Ottawa A's (1952-1954)" - the Lynx were not the same franchise as the Giants/A's one. Whereas if we have "Ottawa. Ottawa Giants (1951), Ottawa A's (1952-1954), Ottawa Lynx (1993-present)" it doesn't incorrectly associate the different teams from the same city. Any other opinions on this? - --Mischa 08:11, 2 Feb 2006 (EST)
I like the Cities represented too. If someone has the time to change the three AAA leagues to that format (I'm the one who originally listed the cities). We should put internatl links to all the city pages as well, now that there's starting to be some text associated with all of those. --Philippe 09:14, 2 Feb 2006 (EST)
This page lists the Terre Haute Huts as playing in 1956, but the Terre Haute, IN page lists no Huts team? What is correct? --MichaelEng 11:22, 13 Jun 2006 (EDT)
I worked for the Terre Haute Baseball Club from 1952 through July 3, 1956, when the Terre Haute Huts folded. The team was never called the Terre Haute Tigers though, in both 1955 and 1956, the Huts had a working agreement with Detroit. User:Brismile
The Terre Haute club did disband July 3, 1956, however, Johnson and Wolff say they were the Tigers in 55 and 56, while Filichia says they were the Tigers in 55 and the Huts in 56. --Just me 23:49, 13 Jun 2006 (EDT)
