Should softball gets its own page, since it is a derivative sport? Softball at the olympics? National Pro Fastpitch or other (former) professional leagues? --MichaelEng 09:43, 13 September 2006 (EDT)

I'm with Mischa. We should mention softball as a closely related sport but shouldn't go any further with it. Leave that for a softball website. --Roger 12:10, 13 September 2006 (EDT)

I put this in the Glossary category because that's where cricket was placed. I wonder if we should have a category with a name like "Variations on Baseball" or "Antecedents and Descendants of Baseball" which would include town ball, cricket, rounders, softball, kick ball, wiffle ball, tee ball, etc...
