Talk:Pat Whitaker
Was 25 that young for a pitcher of that era? Usually, arms were dead by 30, so I would think that mid-20s was normal. - --Mischa 12:49, 27 November 2006 (EST)
Checking out the main B-R page, you see that only one team in the 1889 AA had a staff where the average age was OVER 24. Pat was above the league average age for pitcher. Let's check the facts before applying modern standards to other eras. Does someone want to correct the Whitaker page? - --Mischa 12:51, 27 November 2006 (EST)
