Talk:National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues
I'm assuming this is a different Mike Moore than the pitcher? --Just me 01:59, 15 Apr 2006 (EDT)
Why does Minor League Baseball redirect to this page? The "National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues" was formed after the first Major-minor league contracts (there was an agreement reached in 1883 between the the Northwestern League, the National League and the American Association, another in 1885, one in 1892 ("established minor league classifications for the first time")). Until recently the "National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues" was the official name of the minor leagues --Just me 09:51, 1 November 2006 (EST)
Actually, I was referring to the fact that there were minor leagues prior to 1902 when the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues was formed. I have no intention of writing about those leagues, though, and was just curious about the redirect that would prevent others from writing about the earlier than 1902 minor-major league agreements. The "National Agreement" (which the NL suspended when at war with the AL) is different from the "National Association. Don't confuse the two. --Just me 21:54, 1 November 2006 (EST)
