Does this photo [1] look like the same guy in the article? The text mentions a game between Newark the the Montreal Royals. The photo is from 1902, so it's PD, but I'm not sure if it's the same player... It's from the Quebec National Archives, here [2] --Oaktree_b 23:20, 20 May 2009 (EDT)
