Talk:Milwaukee Brewers Minor League Affiliates
Does anyone else find it odd that from 1996-2000, the Brewers had 2 affiliates in the Pioneer League? -Chisoxfan 00:14, 10 November 2007 (EST)
It's odd indeed, but well attested. Why they didn't instead run a team in the AZL during those years is not clear. --Philippe 00:20, 10 November 2007 (EST)
At first glance I figured it was a typo, but I checked several sources too. Odd. -Chisoxfan 00:24, 10 November 2007 (EST)
It's happened in other leagues. The Pirates had two GCL teams for a couple years. I think the A's or Giants had two California League teams at one point, an even odder mix. - --Mischa 13:42, 11 November 2007 (EST)
It was the A's for a couple of years. The Royals had two GCL teams for a few years and two AZL teams for a year. The Cards had two GCL terams for a year or two also. --Jeff 22:47, 11 November 2007 (EST)
