Talk:Luis Aguayo
"Aguayo was capable of playing third base, second base, and shortstop, but third base was considered his best position. The conventional wisdom was that he lacked the range and arm to handle shortstop for an extended period of time." Ummmm, why did he play way more short and more second than third then? --Jeff 22:06, 17 July 2007 (EDT)
I expect that with Mike Schmidt around, the Phillies had more use for a back-up SS/2B than a back-up at 3B. --Philippe 10:26, 17 June 2008 (EDT)
Bunning is not listed as a scout in any of the Guides, however he was managing in the minors at the time. Peraza is not listed as a scout in any of the Guides until 1983, so he may have been more of a bird-dog at the time. --Jeff 00:24, 3 August 2009 (EDT)
