Talk:Lester Patterson

Does anyone know which Dixie Howell Patterson scouted? Just based on their careers, I'd guess that it was Dixie Howell (howeldi02), but I'd like to be more confident before changing the page.

Except that that Howell was signed by the Dodgers in 1938. Patterson was working in the Reds chain as a manager from 1936 to 1941.

There was a Floyd (Pat) Patterson scouting for the Braves in the '60s and the Expos from 1969-1972. Not the same guy. He must have found Steve Rogers and Gary Neibauer. --Jeff 19:42, 9 November 2007 (EST)
