Talk:LIU Brooklyn
Why are all the "people who went here" lists being changed to alumni? That implies graduation, which is not always the case. - --Mischa 14:03, 18 April 2010 (EDT)
That was my thought exactly --Jeff 14:26, 18 April 2010 (EDT)
I assume we should revert all of these changes. It's a lot to go back through and fix though. - --Mischa 14:29, 18 April 2010 (EDT)
Either that, or maybe there's a third verbiage that would be a compromise? "Attendees include"? or "Attendees"? --Jeff 14:35, 18 April 2010 (EDT)
An alumni is a graduate OR A FORMER STUDENT. Look up the definition. It sounds better to say Alumni vs Joe Blow and John Doe went here. JaxJaguar 14:56, 18 April 2010 (EDT)
I spend hours and hours trying to make the bullpen look better and more professional and people want to fuss about something like this? What I did, did nothing except enhance the site. Give me a break. By the way Alumni IN NO WAYS IMPLIES THAT YOU WERE A GRADUATE. I am an alumni of Lee University. I did not graduate from there, but I am part of the alumni. Quite the rant up there. Anyway...
