Max Carey is listed as having 5 runs and no hits on both July 25, 1912 and July 25, 1913. Which is correct? - --Mischa 10:35, 25 July 2007 (EDT)

Paper of Record doesn't help. Retrosheet lists the 1912 game as an extra inning 8-7 Pirates win which is plausible, but 1913 has Pittsburgh with a 12-2 win in which they only had 8 hits, which seems even more likely. - --Mischa 12:05, 25 July 2007 (EDT)

"1997 - The Royals acquire 3B Dean Palmer, a free agent at the end of the season, from the Rangers in exchange for OF Tom Goodwin" - Obviously, July 25 was not "the end of the season".
