Even though Cohen was a former player of Polk's, Polk wanted one of his assistant coaches (another former player too) to take the job. The AD was new on the job, so he hired the guy he wanted, who he had worked with at Kentucky. Polk promised to take his name off the stadium and to tear down the program if Cohen got the job. --Jeff 14:58, 8 January 2010 (EST)
