Copied from bio, didn't seem to belong there. The answer to this is fairly easy, it happened during an extra inning perfect game, hint, hint:

Joe Adcock hit a home run with Hank Aaron on first base. Aaron ran across the infield toward the dugout instead of to second base (perhaps thinking that Adcock had flied out). When Adcock reached second base ("ahead" of Aaron) Adcock was called out and lost his home run. I saw this when watching a televised game. I would sure like to know the date that it happened.
