In his prime, Hal Lanier was annually among the league leaders in GIDP. Would this indicate that he was a slow baserunner?

Lanier was a right handed batter with no power. He probably hit the ball on the ground instead of in the air, leading to GIDP. --Just me 13:59, 25 December 2006 (EST)
