I assume the minor league draft is the same as the Rule V Draft? - --Mischa 19:33, 21 September 2009 (EDT)
December 3, 1951: Drafted by the Chicago Cubs from the Brooklyn Dodgers in the 1951 minor league draft. This is the way his draft status was listed on his BR Page.
There are several in this category throughout the site. The rule V page states that the minors may participate in the Rule V Draft. However there is no link or information on the minor league draft. --Dugout--Dugout 00:01, 22 September 2009 (EDT)
Actually they are similar. The Guides listed the drafts together. The Rule V draft was listed as "Regular $XX,000 draft", while the minor league draft was listed as "$X,000 First-year draft". --Jeff 23:41, 22 September 2009 (EDT)
After research it appears that the Minor League Draft and the Rule V Draft are one and the same, shouldn't the Minor League Draft be linked to the Rule V page. There seems to be far more mention of the MLD on the BR Pages than the Rule V.--Dugout 14:51, 23 September 2009 (EDT)
