Why were Dickerson, Houck, Pike, Dorgan, Fox, etc. banned in 1881?

Also, I've been adding both Blacklisted and Reinstated to player pages; shouldn't only one be used? Blacklisted for people who have been banned and never reinstated and Reinstated (or even more descriptive People who have been Blacklisted and Reinstated or something like that) for people who were banned and later reinstated. Only the odd person who was banned, reinstated, banned a second time and never reinstated would get two categories. Finally, should both be renamed from players to persons, people, or perhaps the subject should be removed all together. --MichaelEng 01:54, 5 August 2006 (EDT)

David Nemec lists those guys in 1881 but doesn't list why. I think a blacklisted and reinstated category makes more sense than to have two separate categories for that individual. - --Mischa 09:44, 6 August 2006 (EDT)
