Talk:Barry Zito
Removing the Category:Musicians. If someone wants to restore it feel free. I'm not aware of alot of player-musicians so it didn't seem to be a significant category but we can always put it back if needed. (also rm cat from Pepper Martin) --Pti 11:33, 13 Sep 2005 (EDT)
Other mucisians[edit]
Off the top of my head
Lee Maye Bronson Arroyo Bernie Williams
Definately much more common than Ambidextrous Pitchers. I've actually heard Bronson Arroyo song(s) on the radio quite a few times which I think is all the more reason NOT to have this category. But if others like it we can put it back. --Pti 13:16, 13 Sep 2005 (EDT)
Scott Radinsky
Jack McDowell
Tim Flannery
others?
theo Epstein
Peter Gammons?
Did Deion Sanders make an album? Also would like to include the 1986 Chicago Bears "SuperBowl Shuffle" but no baseball connection.
Where's the old timers? There must have been some to add to this list.

So should we restore this category?
--Pti 16:55, 13 Sep 2005 (EDT)
I'm all for restoring it. --Tim
Carmen Fanzone used to play the national anthem on his trumpet before Cubs games.
I pulled the Soundtrack from Ken Burns' 'Baseball' (1994)[edit]
They had songs about Joe DiMaggio, Jackie Robinson, and Mickey Mantle.
Willie Mays sung the Willie Mays Song "Say Hey" with the Treiners.
Really I thought there were more.
Bill Slayback wrote and performed a song about Hank Aaron. --Philippe 10:01, 18 May 2008 (EDT)
Slayback should get the musician category then. - --Mischa 11:10, 18 May 2008 (EDT)
