Talk:Adrian Garrett
MLB.com doesn't list Garrett as a coach for the Marlins in 1997 (or any other year). I believe he was coaching in AAA that year. Did they give WS rings to their minor league coaches? --Jeff 23:30, 7 March 2007 (EST)
I found several references to the third Garrett brother as "Jimmy" and none as "Charlie", though his first name officially was Charles. Can someone find other citations for Charlie? If not, I'll change the links. - --Mischa 12:52, 15 April 2007 (EDT)
I believe that the Marlins did give WS Rings to their Minor League coaches. I don't know if they all received one. And I don't know if this made a difference or not but Adrian was a coach / instructor for the Major League camp during spring training. JaxJaguar 21:30, 2 November 2007 (EDT)
Charles James Garrett is the middle Garrett brother between Henry Adrian Garrett Jr. and Ronald Wayne Garrett. All 3 Garrett brothers were signed by the Milwaukee Braves. Adrian and Wayne made it to the Majors, Charlie / Jimmy did not. JaxJaguar 21:30, 2 November 2007 (EDT)

Garrett's famous first category was added because he was the first player to hit 3 home runs in a Japanese All Star game and part of the first 200-HR team in Japanese history. Is this famous enough to be counted? - --Mischa 08:25, 23 August 2007 (EDT)
The page now has 421 revisions. The second most in the Bullpen is the Main page with only 270 revisions. --Jeff 12:29, 24 August 2007 (EDT)
Charles James Garrett[edit]
Charlie or Charles is what he is known as in the business world, in our family he has always been Jimmy. The Garrett boys are members of 3 Florida Pioneer families and we as a family are very proud of their accomplishments.
Are the members of the Tacoma and Appleton Halls of Fame really relevant to this page? - --Mischa 19:53, 7 April 2013 (EDT)
