Takeshi Yamamoto hit .265 with 6 home runs and 46 RBI in 2005

Takeshi Yamamoto hit .282 with 6 home runs and 55 RBI in 2006, advancing his team to the Shikoku Island League’s Championship Series where he earned MVP honors when he hit .313 with 2 home runs and 7 RBI in 4 games.

United States professional career[edit]

Takeshi Yamamoto was the first international player to be drafted by the Traverse City Beach Bums of the Independent Frontier League. Yamamoto played catcher, and alternated as third baseman for the Beach Bums.
