Biographical Information

Takahiro Sasaki pitched in the independent leagues and the TML.

Sasaki had a 14.06 ERA in 8 games in 1997 for the Allentown Ambassadors, and the Chianan Luka signed him. He struggled in Taiwan as his ERA was 7.04 in 5 games in 1999, then he was released. Sasaki then allowed 4 runs in 2 1/3 innings for the Long Island Ducks in 2000, and he had a 2.21 ERA in 14 games with the Greenville Bluesmen. His ERA rose to 4.45 in 22 relief outings in 2001 for the Bluesmen, then his professional career ended.
