Biographical Information[edit]
Takaaki Sato was an infielder who represented Japan in the 1998 Baseball World Cup. He hit .423/.433/.731 with two homers and seven RBI in eight games, while handling 18 chances error-free at first base and third base; he also played DH. He had Japan's top slugging, .064 ahead of Kanichi Matoba. He played for JFE East Japan in the Industrial League.
