TVBS

TVBS, a Taiwan TV station, was founded in 1993 and had the TV rights to the Chinese Professional Baseball League from 1993-1996. When it lost those rights, its owner set up the Taiwan Major League to rival the CPBL; the TML lasted six seasons and attracted quite a few former major leaguers and top Taiwanese players.
