Biographical Information

T.J. Zarewicz pitched in independent baseball from 2016 to 2019, mostly for the Santa Fe Fuego, going 2-9 with a 10.86 ERA in 33 games (11 starts). In 82 1/3 innings, he allowed 145 hits and 28 walks, while striking out 64 batters. The only other team he played for was the Trinidad Triggers (3 G, 12 2/3 IP).

He managed the Fuego for part of the 2016 campaign, with the club going 9-14 under his leadership. He skippered the club for all of 2017, going 32-26 for a 4th-place finish, and he also led the Salina Stockade and San Rafael Pacifics for part of the year. In 2018, he led the Fuego for part of the season, with the team going 26-15 under his guidance. In 2019, he led the club to a 27-31, 4th-place finish. He also managed the Hollywood Stars of the Canadian-American Association to a 1-8 mark that year. In 2020, he was the hitting coach for the Atlantic League's Road Warriors. He is currently the bench coach for the Lincoln Saltdogs, having served in that role since 2021. He has also worked as pitching coach for the Stars and has worked for the Steel City Slammin’ Sammies.
