Biographical Information[edit]
Swede Carlstrom made two starts at shortstop with the Boston Red Sox in 1911, batting 1-for-6. He played his minor league ball in the New England League. Carlstrom was a combat veteran of World War I, whose health was broken by the war. He died of spinal meningitis at 48.
