Biographical Information

Sung-kuk Jang played for the South Korean national team in the 1993 Intercontinental Cup. Backing up Soo-hyuk Im at catcher, he was 0 for 4 and handled nine putouts. The Samsung Lions drafted him in the 2nd round of the the 1997 KBO draft, but he only got 33 at-bats with 4 hits for the big club before the Lions released him in 2002.
